Jan. 15, 2018: The members of Infant Jesus Ward celebrated their patron’s feast on Sunday, 14th of January with the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration. The ward members took active part in the liturgy.
At 11:30a.m., get together of the ward members began in the Basement Hall. Parish clergy, vice president and ward leaders of other wards were also present on this occasion. God’s grace was invoked by Celestine Dias accompanied by the ward members. Sylvia Lobo introduced the guests and welcomed the gathering. Jecintha D’Souza, ward representative read out the report of the annual activities of the ward.
Cultural Programme included the dance performance by Jane Pinto, song by Naomi and Shane, jokes by Celestine Dias and Muriel Pais. Roshan Pais along with his troop entertained the audience through their melodious singing. Muriel Pais and Sharal Pais conducted the games.
On this Occasion Mr Sylvester Antony D’Souza and Mrs Rosemarie D’Souza were felicitated for their selfless service towards the growth of the ward.
Parish Priest in his message congratulated the ward leader and the members for the meaningful celebration of the ward day and also exhorted them to continue the habit of coming together in the ward for the betterment of everyone. Reena Sequeira, ward leader proposed the vote of thanks. Programmed came to an end with the delicious food.
