Mar. 25, 2018:Palm Sunday that marks the arrival of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem, where his disciples gave him a warm welcome by waving palm leaves, was celebrated today with utmost piety and devotion. Through this Palm Sunday we begin the Holy Week of the Liturgical calendar. The devotees marched in a procession carrying palm leaves which were earlier blessed by Parish Priest Rev. Fr Stany Pereira at St Aloysius School ground. On reaching the church, the passion of the Lord was read devotedly. Thereafter, Parish priest briefed the significance of sufferings of Jesus in the salvation history. The assistant parish priests were also present fr the celebration.
