The feast of our Lady of Fatima was celebrated on the 13th of May. 7 a.m. Mass liturgy was meaningfully conducted by the Fatima ward members.
The ward meeting and get together of the ward members took place at the residence of Loy and Melanie Roche at 5:30 p.m. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Stany Pereira and assistant parish priest Rev. Fr Johnson Sequeira and ward family members were present.
During the ward meeting, the ward members recite the Rosary. After this, the celebration began with prayer led by Rev. Fr Stany Pereira. A few games were conducted by Mrs Melanie and Mr Melwin D’Souza. The ward members entertained the gathering by singing ‘Mando’ under the leadership of Mr Wenceslaus Pais and Irene Pais. Mr Wenceslaus Pais and Mr Melwyn D’Souza enthralled the gathering through their instrumental old Hindi songs. The birthday of two ward members was celebrated by singing birthday song. Gurkar Ida Pinto thanked everyone who made the day a day memorable and enjoyable one.
The gathering came to an end by fellowship meal.
