Farewell of Fr Johnson Sequeira

May 27, 2018: With heartfelt gratitude, the Urwa parishioners bid adieu to Rev Fr Johnson Sequeira for his generous service in Urwa Parish as an assistant parish priest for two years and wished good luck to his new appointment as parochial administrator of Bambil Church, Bantwal and head master to Loretto school, Bantwal. Morning he offered the Holy Eucharist along with Rev Fr Stany Pereira, the parish priest, Rev Fr Jason Lobo the new assistant parish priest and the parishioners.

After the Mass all remained back for the send-off program of Fr Johnson. Rev Fr Stany in his speech said that Fr Johnson is a person with brain and heart which is blessing of God and thanked him for all his support and wished him well in his future mission. Fr Johnson thanked Fr Stany for his guidelines and support in his mission and he thanked all for the love, concern and generosity.

At 2.30pm after the short prayer, around 150 well wishers went to reach Fr Johnson to the Bambil church and at 5.pm he took the charge of new parish.
