June 10, 2018: The members of Sacred Heart Ward celebrated their Patron's feast on Sunday 10th June, with the solemn Eucharistic celebration in the morning. The members took active part in the liturgy. Evening at 6:30pm get together of the ward members began in the church main hall. On this occasion Parish clergies Rev Fr Stany Pereira, Rev Fr Jason Lobo and the guest priest Rev Fr Johnson Sequeira, vice president Mr Francis Saldanha, Secretary Mrs Lucy Dsouza and ward leaders of other wards were also present.
Under the leadership of Mr Elias D’Souza the ward gurkar, the programe began with the prayer song by the ward children, followed by skits, dances, spot games for all. The highest scorers in different examinations were honoured. The ward report of whole year was presented by Mrs. Vanitha Fernandes and Accounts by Alwyn Pinto. Mrs. Rosy Dsouza verbalized sentiments of gratitude towards all. The whole program was compeered by Mr. Cyril Fernandes. At the end festal meal was served to all.
