18th October 2018: The Jeevan Jyothi Camp for SSLC students of Bendur, Bejai, Urwa, Ashoknagar, Kulur and Tannirbhavi parishes of Episcopal City Deanery was conducted on 15th, 16th and 17th October at Urwa church hall. 170 children were present for the camp. The theme of the camp was ‘MY FAMILY AND MY FUTURE’. During the camp resource persons gave talks on – My responsibilities and love towards the Church, Holy Rosary-the strength of the family, Marriage – a sacrament, inter religious marriage and its effects, my future through studies, love friendship and growth and drugs and its effects and liberation from it. Various games were conducted by the animators. On the last day the children performed the cultural grogram. At end of the camp a reminder was given to all. Children went home with lots of memories.
