April 20, 2019: The service of Good Friday began at 6.30pm. On this day, when Christ our Paschal Lamb was sacrificed, all the parishioners of Urwa contemplated and adored the Cross of Christ. The asst parish priest Rev Fr Jason Lobo led the ceremony and preached on 'I thirst' the one of the words of Jesus on the cross. Rev Fr Stany was concelebrant. After the homily, as the part of the ceremony, prayers for various intentions were offered and the Cross was venerated. A large number of faithful participated devoutly in this Good Friday ceremony.
