August 19, 2019: The ICYM and YCS units of Urwa parish had organized youth day for all the youth of Urwa parish on 18th August 2019. Around eighty-five youth were present for this event. The day began with Holy Eucharist offered by Rev Fr Stany Pereira the parish priest and concelebrated by Rev Fr Jason Lobo the asst. parish priest. After the Mass all the youth gathered in the hall. Here the youth day was inaugurated by unveiling the youth day flex. Mr. Gavin Lobo president of ICYM welcomed all; Ms. Melanie Cutinha secretary of ICYM read the report of ICYM. Rev Fr Stany Pereira in his presidential speech, called the youth to stay in unity and strengthen the community. Mr. Ronak D’sa YCS yuvatare representative verbalized the sentiments of gratitude. Parish vice president Mr. Francis Saldanha, Secretary Mrs. Lucy D’Souza, Episcopal City Deanery ICYM President Ms. Delitia Pereira were the guests present. The whole program was compeered by Ms. Anjali Maria Baptist. After the stage program various group and individual activities were conducted for the youth by ICYM members. The youth day was concluded by lunch.
