The church in India observed the National Youth Sunday on August 9th, 2020. As a gesture the youth (ICYM) of Urwa gathered under one roof to celebrate the same. The youngsters together celebrated the mass to seek the grace from the Lord. Rev. Fr stany Pereira celebrated the mass after which a sapling was planted in the garden to indicate that every youngster should grow and bear much fruit.
It was time for young minds to know about the growing and burning issues sorrounding them, the abuses, the unemployment, mental stress etc. So they are exhorted to place their trust in the Lord. "I can do all things through Him the one who strengthens me" Phi 4:13.
Rev. Fr Rahul Dexter Asst Parish Priest; Mr Lloyd Lobo, Vice President and Mrs Lucy D'souza, Secretary were present for he same.
