A day most awaited by the catholics of Mangalore was back. September 8th is indeed special as the church celebrates the birth of Mother Mary. Due to the covid pandemic around a big celebration wasn't possible but nevertheless people gathered in good numbers to celebrate the occasion and thus seek blessings from our Heavenly Mother.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the Rev. Fr Stany Periera, Parish Priest and Concelebrated by Fr Rahul Dexter Asst Parish Priest. At the end New Corn was blessed and given to the faithful assembled. A special gratitude was given to Mr Augustine D'souza & Fly for preparing the corn on time who does so every year. Following are the few glimpses of the harvest and the feast.
