The feast of our Lady of Pompeii was celebrated with much devotion and piety.This year the celebration wasn't done in the open quadrangel rather in the church due to the Covid Pandemic & restricitons. Nevertheless the faithful gathered in good number to praise and honour the Heavenly Mother.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore. "let us be grateful to God like Mary for His Mercy" was the theme chosen for the feast.After the MAss Eucharistic adoration and benediciton was conducted by Rev. Fr Rahul D'souza.This year nO Eucharistic procession was seen due to the Restricitons again.
Rev.Fr Stany Pereira, Parish Priest thanked one and all who were instrumental in making the festal celebrations a meaningful one. A few glimpses of the feast are seen below
