September 08, 2022: The feast of Nativity of Mother Mary popularly known as 'Monthi Fest' was celebrated with joy and happiness at Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa on Sept 8th. The new corn was blessed at the residence of Mr. Augustine D'Souza of Sacred Heart of Jesus ward. The procession started from his house with band, altar boys, children carrying flowers, large number of faithful and Parish clergy. On reaching church children offered flowers to Infant Mary.

Parish Priest Rev. Fr Benjamin Pinto celebrated the festal mass along with the Asst. Parish Priest Rev.Fr Johnson Pereira.

The Parish Priest thanked each and every one who helped during the days of Novena and on feast day. Ward leaders and PPC members distributed the blessed corn to the Parishioners. Children were very happy to receive sugarcane. Large number of faithful participated in the liturgical celebration.
