June 17, 2019: The members of St Antony ward celebrated their ward feast on the 16th June. They meaningfully conducted the liturgy of Mass at 7am. In the evening all the ward members and invited guests gathered in the basement hall for the celebration. Rev Fr Stany Pereira, Fr Jason Lobo, Mr. Francis Saldanha vice president Mrs. Lucy Dsouza secretary and the sisters from Ladyhill convent were present. The occasion was also graced by the presence of all other Ward leaders.
The ward children welcomed all with a dance and then Mr. Wilson welcomed through the words. Thereafter the prayer service was led by the Ward members and Fr Jason Lobo gave a brief reflection on the Word of God. The Ward report of the whole year was read by Mrs. Mary Almeida. The ward members entertained the gathering with the dances, games, song and skit. Rev Fr Stany Pereira gave message to the Ward members and gave prizes to those who have secured good marks in the last academic year. Fr Jason Lobo said the grace before the meals. Mrs. Violet Rego, the ward leader verbalized sentiments of gratitude towards all. The program was compeered by Mrs. Nancy Sequeira.
