2016: Good Friday

Good Friday was observed in silence with faithful making visits to the church from morning 6.30 a.m. In order to experience the passion of Christ, way of the cross was held at 8.00a.m, 10.00 a.m and 12 noon. 8.00 a.m. and 12 noon was in Konkani and 10.00 a.m in English language.

The evening ceremony commenced at 6.00 p.m. Fr. Amith Rodrigues the Asst Parish Priest, was the main celebrant. The passion was sung. The Passion sermon was preached by Fr. Amith Rodrigues. Then there were solemn prayers for the universal needs, unveiling the cross and honoring the cross, followed by the communion. The whole ceremony was very much devotional and awe –inspiring. People went in silence reflecting the passion and death of Jesus.
