September 08, 2023: The feast of Nativity of Mother Mary popularly known as 'Monthi Fest' was celebrated with joy and happiness at Immaculate Conception Church on Sept 8th. The procession began from the house of Mr. Augustine D'Souza of Sacred Heart of Jesus ward with band, altar boys, children carrying flowers, large number of faithful and Parish clergy. On reaching church the new corn was blessed and thereafter children offered flowers to Infant Mary.

Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Johnson Pereira celebrated the festal mass. The Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Benjamin Pinto broke the Word of God, and Fr Henry con celebrated the mass. ‘Bible Marathon- A Race of Grace’ was officially inaugurated during the mass.

The Parish Priest thanked each and every one who helped during the days of Novena and on feast day. Ward leaders and PPC members distributed the blessed corn to the Parishioners. Children were very happy to receive sugarcane. Large number of faithful participated in the liturgical celebration.
