Elder's Day was celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church on October 1, 2023. The event commenced with a mass at 11:00 AM, followed by a short programme in the Centenary Hall. The programme included games and entertainment. Gifts were given to all the 210 elders who participated in the event and partook in the sumptuous meal that followed.

The dignitaries who graced the event with their presence include Parish Priest Fr. Benjamin Pinto, Assistant Priest Fr. Johnson Pereira, Resident Priest Fr. Henry Sequeira, Superior of the Lady Hill Convent Sr. Violet Tauro, Vice President Mr. Lloyd Lobo, Secretary Mrs. Sylvia Mascarenhas and the Co-ordinator of 21 commissions Mr. Kevin Martis

The event was organized by the Ekthar Commission. Mr Kevin Martis welcomed the gathering, Fr. Henry Sequeira led the prayer, and the vote of thanks was delivered by the coordinator of the Ekthar commission.
