Rev Fr Amith Rodrigues who served as assistant Parish Priest of Urwa Church during the last one year was given a fitting farewell on 12th June after 7 a.m. Mass.
During the Eucharistic celebration, prayers were offered for Fr Amith.
A short farewell program was arranged after the mass. Mr Hilary D’Souza, vice president Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) read out the Maan Pathr. Parish Priest along with other brother priests and Sr Superior felicitated Fr Amith for his selfless service to the Church. Fr Amith in his reply thanked Parish Priest, Religious Sisters, and Parish Laity for their all time support and encouragement. Parish Priest Fr Stany Pereira lauded the service of Fr Amith to the Church. Mrs Jeneview Mathias, Secretary PPC proposed Vote of Thanks. Fr Johnson L Sequeira, assistant Parish Priest compered the programme.
